Silvia Carrus is an Italian illustrator, comic artist and writer.

She works mostly in digital media, producing colourful or black and white digital illustrations and comics.

Her work appeared in various comic publications and websites, such as TYCI zine, Indie Comics Quarterly Issue #1, Andromeda Quarterly Issue #7, Dirty Diamonds comics anthology, Soft Revolution Zine, The Rumpus, Earth Is Huge zine Issue #5, Midnight Breakfast Issue #6, Outré Press Issue #5, Dirty Rotten Comics Issue #4, Jack Spat Press Issue #1 and more.
Silvia has worked for many clients, including The Brewlogist, V12 Group, NovaCreative, Ubuntu Mail organisation, Purple Mash, Aim Interactive/Video Explainers, Elemental Creative, Promote Classical and Wickleby Venture AB.

She worked as a monthly cartoonist for the feminist websites The F Word and Femsplain, and regularly makes comics about mental health for self care app Aloe.

She has illustrated various children's books such as: The Poofiest Pong by Katherine Graham, The Cupcake Fairy by James Burgess and Liebe Aliens by Philipp Dettmer.

She has self published comics on social issues like Feminist Cat, The Feminist Superheroes and Social Justice Penguin. Alongside silly humorous all ages comics Butt Ghosts, The Dog With Magical Farts and the mental health related book Supportive Animals. She has been selling those works and others at Comic Cons around the UK since 2015.
